What is Originis?
Origins is a hybrid-decentralized platform designed to seamlessly blend provenance and marketplace features. Our core objective is to register, trade and promote both physical and digital artworks, ensuring that the legacies of living and deceased artists are well-preserved.
Built upon the robust foundation of blockchain for secure data storage over 200 years and A.I. to enhance art authentication, our platform securely archives trade and art history, fostering heightened trust. We've integrated a thorough Provenance process, enhanced by Artificial Intelligence, using science to refine the authentication process.
We also provide a secure platform for users to confidently bid on premium artworks. Artists benefit from a transparent space to showcase their works to a broad spectrum of collectors.
At the core of Origins are our artists, collectors, and scholars. Their participation and feedback are vital to the ongoing evolution of our platform.
How we'll do it?
The Provenance process serves as the gateway for introducing new artworks into our platform. It begins with the comprehensive entry of information and documents pertaining to the artwork, categorized under various headers: Profile (encompassing title, name, dimensions, etc.), Artwork Image, Certifications, Expert Evaluations, Exhibitions, and Publications.
Subsequently, each artwork undergoes a meticulous review of all submitted details, conducted jointly by our internal team and sophisticated A.I. Upon approval, the artwork advances to the minting process. Here, a unique smart contract is crafted for the artwork, accompanying it throughout its lifecycle. This contract archives all artwork information and documents in the same classified format as provided during registration, ensuring easy access and understanding.
For original artists, there's an additional feature: the ability to produce related digital works. This functionality remains exclusive and is not extended to collectors.
Our advanced artistic attribution algorithms also assist living artists in the creation of digital works and NFT generation.
Introducing artworks into the market becomes a swift process, requiring just a click and minor inputs.
