Originis Ambassadors and Committees, get nominated!
The future of the arts that we believe in and are helping to build is distributed, decentralized, usable, and knowledgeable, but with the highest degree of privacy and security for collectors.
To build our community, we understand that it is essential to have a space with clear rules to have freedom of opinion in a pleasant environment that stimulates and rewards knowledge sharing.
This knowledge, so necessary in our design, is obtained via people with experience who are willing to study, research, and contribute.
Within our community design, we have created committees and ambassadors to attract people with considerable experience and expertise in the art world, respecting the different areas of knowledge, regions of the world, artistic movements, and eras.
With this, we will build multiple and valuable sources to nourish our community with relevant content, be it knowledge, contacts, information, or even paintings and sculptures, physical or digital.
Committees
The committees serve as a unique means of information exchange, networking, and in-depth discussion with other highly relevant peers in the specific area of
the committee. And as we grow, when applicable, we will segment the committees by regions and themes.
One person can comprise from 1 to 3 committees; this design seeks to avoid concentration while facilitating the initial formation of committees with members from other committees. And each committee is made up of 5 to 15 people, and each one will have its requirements regarding purposes and rules, but always with criteria tied to experience and knowledge.
Initially, we will invite people to join the committees; then, they will be self-managed. Members nominate and evaluate the entrance of a new member and the creation of segmentation (Ex: Contemporary Art Collectors, Brazilian Art Scholars, Digital Art Collectors, etc.)
The complete management of the committees will be done within the Originis.
Initially, we will have three committees of 5 members (profiles will be available on the site) and with the following purposes and rules:
Collectors' Committee
Intention: to bring art collectors together.
Because they are an essential source of knowledge in our ecosystem as a customer, converting them into participating members is a crucial win for Originis. This creates a competitive advantage by bringing trust and capital into our ecosystem.
Collectors are people with excellent knowledge and interest in the art world and have purchasing power, and for this reason, they are often reserved and prefer privacy. Creating this committee and its future segmentation into regions is to create a favorable environment for this significant movement.
Rules: have a registered collection on our Originis that is compatible with the committee in question and has tokens in stake.
Scholars and Experts Committee
Purpose: to bring together people with experience and considerable knowledge in the art world.
This committee may be divided between the two groups on more specific topics, such as artists, regions, or artistic movements.
It is an essential source of knowledge for the community and the validation process.
Events will be promoted within the community to foster exchange between the more experienced and those who wish to learn more.
Rules: have a minimum of 20 years of proven experience in the art world and/or publications of importance and have stake tokens.
Conflict Resolution Committee
Purpose: to consensually resolve conflicts that exist in our community.
This intermediation can be direct, where the committee acts over the whole process. Or indirect, where the committee only accompanies the actions of the nuclei involved in the conflict.
But in both cases, without giving up the responsibility and commitment to solving the conflict in the best way to preserve the interests of our community.
In some cases, therefore, community votes may be called for resolution.
Rules: be an active member in our community, already in the last Membership Plan category and have tokens in stake.
All committees can receive nominations from their members and the community.
The applicant should start a topic on our Originis in the community interaction area, defending his request with his background in the community and the art world, registration and validation processes, eventual committees, collection, etc.
The community will vote on the admissibility of the application - a minimum approval of 50% of the votes is required, and at least 10% of the voting community. Once this is done, the memberβs entire history will be analyzed, and the process will be referred to the committee in question.
The committee will issue its final vote: approved or not.
If the result is no, the community can request a re-examination by replicating the committee's arguments and, as a last resort, can trigger a Conflict Resolution Mechanism.
Ambassadors
They are passionate members of our community, members who help bring new people into our ecosystem, and members who have history and experience in the art world.
The difference for committee members is that Ambassadors are people who are more connected to the network of the art world.
Our idea with the adoption of Ambassadors is precisely to attract people who can help us grow our ecosystem, but also:
Represent and talk about Originis in your environment. With this, we increase the knowledge of Originis by the public through sources with credibility;
Please help Originis to think of events and also help us in connecting third party events where we can collaborate;
When appropriate, please help us with suggestions for topics for our communication;
Cooperate with other community members to foster our cordial and collaborative environment, whenever possible add knowledge and share content with the community;
Whenever you are going to promote an event through Originis, you are welcome to follow the event;
They can suggest actions for the committees and are expected to take care of the resources laid out through reviews, staffing, and delivery levels;
Collaborate with professional excellence, with the highest standards of ethical conduct;
Initially, we will have 2 Ambassadors, and we will publish the names on our website. By the end of the year, we hope to have five ambassadors from different arts segments.
We will think together with the ambassadors about actions to promote the Originis with the network of contacts they represent.
The rewards for committees and ambassadors have been defined above.
